Tanja Kalovska Roussou
Tanja Kalovska Roussou is an experienced programme manager with more than 16 years of experience in programme and project management in the field of human rights, social development, and education.
She has worked for the Government of North Macedonia, and for a number of International Organisations such as the Council of Europe, the International Labour Organization etc. She managed national projects and regional programmes involving multiple countries.
Ms Roussou holds an MA in South East European Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a BA in Political Studies from St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
Besides programme management, Ms Roussou also worked on the creation, development, and sustainability of national and regional networks and also acts as network coordinator of the programme.
Laura da Silva
European Affairs Lead
Laura is based in Brussels, where she advocates change in EU copyright legislation on behalf of KR21.
In the course of the past decade, Laura acquired a deep knowledge and experience in European public affairs by working first in the think tank sector and later as a freelance public affairs consultant for the non-profit and NGO sector. She guided her clients through the corridors of the European institutions, helping them advocate for policy changes in areas such as foreign affairs and food policy.
Laura holds a bachelor degree in Political Sciences and a Master degree in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Stella works at LIBER, as communications manager for the KR21 project. Following an earlier and very enriching interim role at LIBER, she quickly developed a passion for advocating everyone’s access to knowledge.
Stella graduated in communications studies and political science at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She has worked in the corporate sector, in various marketing, communications and thought leadership roles for over 25 years. Since 2011, Stella has been freelancing as a creative copywriter, and as branding and communications expert for startups, and small and large businesses across Europe. She has written for several industries and sectors, including research libraries, technology, IT, bio and medical 3D printing, maritime, architectural and commercial lighting, music copyrights, mobility and more.
At KR21, Stella aims to reach library communities across Europe, engage and support them to actively participate in copyright reform at national and European levels.
